Peer review
We run a double-blind review model: the author's identity is hidden from the reviewers, and the reviewers' identities are hidden from the author. Editors know both.
The review model
Every submission is read first by an editor. If it passes the initial scope check, it is assigned to two reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers are given three weeks to respond. Their feedback is structured on a short form: relevance, rigor, clarity, and significance. The editor makes the final decision, incorporating both reviews and their own reading.
Reviewer responsibilities
- Read the submission carefully and confidentially.
- Complete the structured feedback form within three weeks.
- Flag conflicts of interest at assignment time.
- Respond to author revisions once within one week.
Become a reviewer
We welcome reviewer applications from members with three or more years of active community participation, a published piece, or an equivalent academic or professional background. Reviewers earn 500 points per review cycle plus the lasting satisfaction of shaping our journal.
